About Her.DNS

I didn’t imagine myself working in cybersecurity.

My career started in roles far outside of tech, but I knew I wanted something bigger, where I could have more freedom, stability, and purpose. Like many women pivoting into new fields, I faced doubt, confusion, and a  lot of voices saying, “this isn’t for you.”

When I first explored tech, it felt overwhelming. Everything seemed built for people who already spoke the language—full of acronyms, code, and gatekeeping. But I stayed curious. I kept learning, asking questions, and piecing things together until I realized something important: cybersecurity isn’t just about coding. It’s about solving problems, protecting what matters, and building systems that give people peace of mind.

Once I stopped waiting for permission, I started building my own path. I set up my first home lab at home, studied for certifications, and leaned on my own strengths—communication, persistence, and vision. I discovered that my unique background wasn’t a setback. It was an asset.

Her.DNS grew from that experience. It’s a space for women who want to step into tech with clarity and confidence, without having to figure it all out in isolation. Everything I create here, whether it’s a guide, a tool, or a resource, is something I wish I had when I began.

For me, cybersecurity isn’t only about landing a role. It’s about creating a lifestyle where your digital world supports your real one. It’s about setting boundaries, protecting your data, and designing a future you feel secure in.

If you’re ready to define your purpose, navigate your pivot, and secure your future, this is your space.
